Majora's Mask and Ocarina were a source of a lot of childhood nightmare fuel for me --even the friggin Cucco scared me! (seriously, did you ever attack them in Gerudo Valley?? They'll jump off a cliff to kill you..)
This was supposed to be a reference to the people playing 'chicken little' today, but I thought it was too corny.
As much as I want to keep my dailies as original as possible, a tiny bit of non-original content wouldn't hurt.
I was a huge fan of Digimon growing up, it undoubtedly influenced my art my interest in Kaiju/ monsters. I remember having made up a lot of my own, this dude dates back to first grade (ehehe...damn, I'm old.) Named him Raptormon, he's a rookie-level and a vaccine type...would digivolve into this ridiculously over-powered electric mecha-godzilla thing.
My tablet pen is pretty much on the fritz again, I'm sure (I hope) it's the pen-nib, but I'm all out and it's gonna take FOREVER to ship it, so I'm kind of screwed right now. Hopefully Microbytes has it or some shop in Montreal, I'll get it on Monday.
Loathe this, but I'm NOT restarting my dailies. Whether this crappy pen works or not.
Nothing new art-wise. But this pretty much describes how insane I've been (and am right now). I've been a night owl and a morning bird cause of animation school and juggling concept art on the side. I pull about 2-3 all nighters a week. I'm surprised I'm not morbidly obese by now.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Wtf I don't even know. I used to draw aliens a lot when I was a kid, but it's been years and I've never tried painting them.
It's going to take quite a while to get the hang of It's a really fun topic, I can't believe I ditched it. I'm a huge zoology nerd so coming up with all kinds of reasons for why the creature would have certain attributes is going to be fun as hell.
